FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What if I have health probelms?
Please notify a spa receptionist before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, other physical ailments or disabilites, or if you are pregnant.  All spa guests will be asked to complete a brief medical questionaire upon check-in, designed for your well being in mind.

What do I wear during my treatment?
Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing.  Undergarments may be worn if preferred.  Most importantly wear what is comfortable to you. Towels, robes and sandals, as well as lockers are provided for our guests with appointments.

Is there a minimum age?
All spa guest should be a minimum of 15 years of age and minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Should men shave before a facial?
Shaving isn't necessary.  If you shave prior to your facial, be sure to do so at least two hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

What if I'm late for my appointment?
We suggest that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment so that you have time to change, fill out any paperwork, and enjoy our relaxation room.  Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, potentially reducing its effectiveness and your pleasure.  Your service will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed.

What about payment for spa services?
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, checks, cash and The Spa by Mitchell's gift cards as well as Triangle Town Center and Cary Town Center mall gift cards.

How do I make a reservation?
We suggest making reservations as soon as possible. Our reservations are made by phone or in person. All spa services require a gift card or credit card to reserve your appointment.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?
Because your spa services are reserved for you, we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to schedule or reschedule. Fees will be assessed for cancellations without 24 hour notice as well as "no shows."

What is customary gratuity for spa services?
In appreciation for outstanding service, gratuities may be given at your discretion to your treatment therapists and/or spa attendant. Customary is 15% to 20%. For you convience, all parties of 5 or more a 18% gratuity will automatically be added.
